- This document provides complementary or late-breaking information as a supplement to the
- Microsoft Access Upsizing Tools documentation. You should read all of this document before
- installing the upsizing tools.
-
- General Issues
- -------------
- The WZCS.MDA file that contains the Upsizing Tools will grow in size over time as the Upsizing
- Report feature is used. To prevent excessive disk space loss, periodically compact the
- WZCS.MDA file. The file must be named WZCS.MDA in order to run, so do not rename the file
- during the compacting process.
-
- The report generated by the Upsizing Wizard cannot be saved to disk. In order to save the
- information contained in the report you will need to print out the report.
-
- The Upsizing Wizard does not check if the user has create permissions before it attempts to
- upsize. If the user does not have the correct permissions, the upsizing process will fail.
-
- If the Upsizing Wizard cannot read the available disk space on the server, it does not prevent
- the user from entering a device size that is larger than the available disk space. The Wizard
- will fail when the user chooses finish and it attempts to create this device on the server.
-
- Do not interrupt export with Control-Break. This will cause the Upsizing Wizard to fail. If
- you would like to cancel the upsizing process please click on the cancel button on the status
- form.
-
- The Upsizing Wizard doesnÆt call SQL ServerÆs sp_primarykey and sp_foreignkey procedures.
- However, relationships are enforced by the triggers it creates.
